A QUICK PRIMER OF FLAT PANEL INSTALLATION IN YOUR HOME

After a long, tiring day at work, you surely want to sit at peace and watch your favorite shows or movies. When you install a TV wall mount, your TV viewing experience becomes more enjoyable and in turn, also saves the floor space along with creating an elegant look in the house. The concept of a home theatre or wall-mount TV is on a rise in the Western countries and it only makes sense to go for a flat panel installation in SanAntonio.

Here is a quick guide to making your flat panel installation easier and there won’t be any fights over the seats in the house, making your TV viewing time more fun.

1.       Choose A Location and Studs

Standard TV mounts keep the TV in a stationary place. However, in this case, you need to find a reliable place to hang the frame that will support the television. To make this easier, you can cut out a cardboard sheet of the same size as your television and hang it on the wall, at your desired location. Choose a location nearest to an electrical outlet and place the TV to correspond to the viewer’s eye level.
However, before you take out the drill, find out the accurate studs to screw the mount. Find and mark the stud where you want the TV. Make use of stud finders to locate the studs and you’ll be good to go.

2.       Drill the Holes and Wall-mount Installation

Once you have located the studs, drill one hole for each stud. Make use of the screws and place your mount on the wall. You can ask your friend or a family member to lend a helping hand and hold up the mount to the desired location and fix it well-intact with the help of the screws. See to it that your mount has been placed on the correct spot.

3.       Run the Wires

Before mounting the TV, manage your wires well. Decide whether you want to run your wires from outside or from the inside. Place the power cord down the wall and plug it well. Do the same with the other cords and pull them through the bottom receptacle. In the end, attach the bottom wall plate with screws.

4.       Mount the TV

Now comes the most fun part of the process, which is to attach the mounting plate to the television and fix it properly as this is the piece that will hold it up. Lift your TV to your wall and connect the wall mounts and rest the screen on it. Be sure that the TV and the other attached devices are plugged. Plug in the cords, and you are good to go!
Although this is a simple process, it requires the help and support of someone, or a professional to be precise. But ideally, you should opt for the installation byprofessionals to adorn your room and make TV viewing enjoyable!
